It culminates in 1941 with a screen playing out the attack on Pearl Harbor lifts, revealing the main museum floor. Here you will see exhibits on the Nazi rise to power, invasions through Europe and Imperial Japan’s incursions through China and the Pacific. The effects of leaders who lead by stoking hatred and nationalism, fascism, imperialism, endorsing conspiracies, lies, racism, antisemitism and the weak response of the dissolution of democracies to rising threats of fascism and militarism around the world in the 1930s are exposed within this presentation.
