This event is 100% inside, so escape the rain and join us!Now in its third year at AHM, the IPMS Patriot Scale Modelers Annual Scale Model Show & Contest brings together talented modelers from across the region for a full day inside our Annex Aircraft Hangar.See an incredible variety of scale models including aircraft, armor, automobiles, ships, Gundam, sci-fi, wargaming and more — from meticulously detailed competition entries to special display-only models and LEGO creations.There’s plenty happening throughout the day:• IPMS Model Competition with judging by experienced IPMS members• FREE Kids Make & Take for children under 13, while supplies last• Figure Painting Roundtable at 10:30am• Hands-on Weathering with Oil and Enamel Paints seminar at 1:40pm• Vendors offering model kits, tools and supplies• Food from Kith and Kin and Lalos MexicanPATCON-ONLY ADMISSION IS JUST $5 AT THE DOOR, with children 15 and under FREE with an adult admission. Calling All Local WWII Veterans!Every October, as part of our “Battle for the Airfield” WWII reenactment, we host a WWII veterans round table discussion, giving us the unique opportunity to learn about history from those who lived it. This year, we are looking for as many local WWII veterans as possible to attend. The round table will be hosted once a day on both Saturday and Sunday, October 10th and 11th, at the American Heritage Museum, located at 568 Main Street, Hudson, MA. If you are planning to visit the American Heritage Museum on Saturday, August 29th, please be aware that the DLX Events Car Show is taking place on the museum grounds and traffic may be heavy between 10:00am to 11:30am. Please note that this event is a separate admission from the museum and tickets to the DLX event may be purchased at the link below. Museum admission is not included with the event ticket.
