Did you know that our TBM-3E Avenger currently on display in our annex hangar during special event weekends operated as a fire bomber / sprayer in civilian service after WWII and before we restored it from 1984-1986? Here is a photo of it in 1978 courtesy of the Warbird Information Exchange (WIX) and Warbird Resource Group as taken by Martin Kyburz - it certainly looks a lot different today! Tank or Treat: Halloween at the American Heritage Museum

Have a historic Halloween at the American Heritage Museum on Saturday, November 2nd at Tank or Treat Day at the Museum from 10:00am to 5:00pm! Any children in costume get free admission with a standard adult / senior / or veteran admission. Fun activities for kids and trick or treating with candy at your favorite tanks. Awesome photo opportunities around the museum!
Discounted Adult, Senior, or Veteran tickets may be purchased online at this link – no need to purchase a ticket for any children in costume. Admission may also be purchased at the front desk.
