Though the weather was a little wet the first day, the inaugural World War II in the Pacific Re-Enactment Weekend was a great new addition to our summer special event schedule! Our thanks to the dedicated re-enactors who helped make the history of the Pacific Theater come alive and the AHM volunteers who helped support the effort!

Both days saw some “top cover” being provided by the Grumman/Eastern FM-2 Wildcat and the Stinson OY-1 (L-5) Sentinel flying as part of the re-enactment.

Take a look at some selected photos provided by photographer Roland Brooks from the weekend below! Remember, our HUGE “Battle for the Airfield” World War II Re-enactment is coming up this Fall, October 12-13, 2024, so don’t miss that!
