This past weekend’s WWII Tank Demonstration Weekend was a total success even though some challenging weather rolled through on Saturday making conditions a bit more “realistic” to the mud that the Allies might have encountered on their way across Europe in 1944 & 1945!  Despite the occasional rain showers on Saturday, we welcomed over 3000 visitors for the weekend!

Our sincere thanks to all the volunteers, re-enactors, concessions providers, and staff members who worked hard through the weekend to get the job done! We appreciate your incredible dedication to our mission of keeping history alive for our guests! And thank you to all of our new and returning guests, members, and supporters – your enthusiasm for events like this is an inspiration to us!

Take a peek at some photos taken this past weekend by volunteer Matthew Ford of some of the action on the tank track! If you couldn’t make it, we are doing another WWII Tank Demonstration Weekend on August 16-17, 2025, so make sure to get tickets! (Click here for the link)

And be sure to join us next month for our annual Tanks, Wings, and Wheels Weekend for Father’s Day Weekend featuring our beautiful pre-WWII automobile collection during the “American Elegance” presentation on June 14-15, 2025 (click here for the link).
