DESCRIPTION:NOTE: EVENT ADMISSION INCLUDES ADMISSION TO MUSEUM\nTHIS WEEKEND’S EVENT IS RAIN-OR-SHINE \nA fantastic Father’s Day weekend event! Many of the American Heritage Museum’s astounding classic automobiles will be out in the sunshine in a grandiose automobile presentation at 1:00pm daily called American Elegance. Accompanying colorful vintage radio broadcast narration will be sure to entertain! Several other exhibitions and surprises will be afoot. Historic aircraft and tanks will be on display. \nThe American Heritage Museum will be open along with the two additional annex buildings on our campus: the AHM aircraft hangar and the AHM automobile collection. The hangar features 12 aircraft from 1909 to 1945 and a collection of Midget\, Sprint\, and Indy Cars. The automobile collection features over 25 rare automobiles from 1900 through 1946. These additional buildings on the American Heritage Museum campus are only open for special event weekends such as this one – all museum buildings and outdoor events are covered with this admission. \nEvent Schedule\n9:00am – 5:00pm\nGates Open – All museum buildings open to visitors. \n9:30am – 4:30pm\nWorld War II Tank & Half Track Rides & Driving – Tank Driving Area\nTank Driving Experiences and Tank Rides aboard the M4 Sherman\, M24 Chaffee\, & M36 Jackson WWII tanks and WWII M3 Half Track will be taking place all day! Details on pricing available in the center of this program. Space is limited\, so sign up ASAP! You can watch the operations all day from the viewing hills too!\nCheck-in and reserve tank and half track experiences at the reservation desk inside the American Heritage Museum in the Pacific War Gallery. \n10:00am – 4:00pm\nWar Gaming Demonstrations – Aircraft Hangar\nGuides will be demonstrating tabletop strategy war gaming in the aircraft hangar through the day\, explaining how games are played and how you can get a start in this unique hobby. \n10:00am – 4:00pm\nPaint-A-Tank – Aircraft Hangar\nFor kids of all ages – come to the Paint-a-Tank tables in the hangar to get a 3D printed tank to paint in the battle colors YOU choose! $5 donation per tank. \n11:00am – 4:00pm\nConcessions Open – Outside Aircraft Hangar\nEnjoy lunch offerings from Stevie’s Cafe and the Kith and Kin Food Truck as well as local craft beer from Clover Road Brewing Company. \n1:00pm – 2:00pm\nAmerican Elegance Auto Show – Pergola Gardens Near Automobile Barn\nThis fun presentation features a dozen rare and classic automobiles in a driving display modeled after a 1930’s Concours d’Elegance\, complete with entertaining and educational commentary! No advance ticket purchase required\, just bring your VALID membership card or recent membership receipt to the entry gate for proof. You may buy tickets online or at the gate for any additional people in your party. \nTank Driving Experiences and Tank Rides Available\nTank Driving experiences and Tank & Half Track Rides will be taking place over the weekend. You can register online\, by phone\, or on-site\, but spaces are limited! \nTank Ride Experience Prices:\n– M36 Jackson (10 minute ride) – $195 per person – Maximum of five (5) riders per trip (four in turret\, one in bow gunner position.
